Due to the nature of the practice's specialty, emergencies occasionally occur and force unexpected changes or delays in the doctors' schedules. Should this occur, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Fees
All fees must be paid on the day of the visit. (This does not include x-ray or services performed by other departments of the Hospital for Special Surgery.) Checks, credit cards and cash are accepted. After payment, you will receive a paid statement and information that can be submitted directly to your insurance carrier.
Medical Records
You are welcome to copies of your medical records. Two or three days are normally needed for processing. Without your permission, the doctors will not speak with family members or friends on your behalf.
Please remember to take your x-rays with you. X-rays are not retained by our office, but are kept at the hospital. Should you require your x-rays, call the hospital at 212-606-1134.
